The sequel to the Hávamál! 🤩

Hávamál (Part 2) takes you into the world of Norse mythology. As a sequel to Hávamál (Part 1), this book contains 55 more poems of the Germanic tribes and Vikings. It is divided into two sections.

In the first part, Loddfafnir's Song, you will learn the wise advice of the Norns. The weavers of destiny were once overheard and their knowledge was written down in this book.

In the second part, Odin's Song of Runes, you will learn how the father of the gods discovered the runes and which secret songs you can conjure with them.

This new version of the old texts is much easier to understand and adapted to current events. In addition, there is an extensive interpretation for each poem on how best to implement the content in the 21st century.

🎁 The Hávamál (Part 2) also makes an excellent gift. The elegant hardcover with a matt finish looks great on any bookshelf!

The second part of the Asaheill Hávamál deals with the last two morality poems from the Edda. They contain further wisdom from Odin and teach us valuable knowledge about the runes.
First of all, you can expect an introduction and general overview of the contents of this book. You will learn how Loddfafnir's song and Odin's runic song fit in with the Hávamál and why they were important to the Vikings.
In the first section, “Loddfafnir's Song”, you will read 28 newly
composed verses from the Edda, including interpretations. These give you a glimpse behind the scenes of Germanic and Viking life.
In the second section, “Odin's Rune Song”, a further 27 stanzas await you, which have also been completely rewritten. They sing about the knowledge of the runes and the spells that can be cast with them.
Odin's songs resound. Will you heed their call?

3 Reasons why you need this book ...

1. Very beginner-friendly

"The Hávamál" by Asaheill is the perfect beginner's book if you are interested in Norse mythology.
The beautiful poems will give you a great impression of the messages that the godfather Odin carries to the outside world.

2. Traditional poems

The old, traditional poems in which Odin shares his advice with mankind have been rewritten - but their content remains just as meaningful.
Be impressed by them and read the modern interpretations that make it easy for you to put Odin's advice into practice today.

3. Easy to understand

Old texts are often difficult to understand, lyrical texts even more so. This is why many people find it difficult to understand the poems from the Hávamál. To make it easier for you, they have been recast for this book so that their deep meaning is preserved and you can benefit from Odin's advice.
